Langer custom manufactures orthotic sandals and clogs from genuine Birkenstock and Naot footwear and, as with all custom-made orthotics, the process begins when you cast your patients using your preferred casting technique and materials.

In addition, our new easy-to-use fitting system, comprised of a set of “sizing footbeds”, enables you to correctly select the appropriately sized components before you send in your order. This process allows you and your patients to “experience” the fit before you order and allows you to select the appropriate patients for these custom-made orthotic products.

When your patients don’t wear their shoes, they don’t wear their orthotics either. That means no therapy! But, Langer custom-made Orthotic Sandals and Clogs are so comfortable that your patients will want to wear them during their usual barefoot or slipper wearing hours. Or, on casual weekends or hot weather days when regular shoes and orthotics are often  kicked off. That adds at least an additional 33% or more of wearing time to supplement their orthotic therapy.

The Function of Langer Custom Orthotics is Built Right In

When your casts are received, our experienced technicians use the latest technology to fabricate individual custom-made orthotic footbeds that accurately capture the contours of your patient’s feet. Then, through a proprietary process, the orthotics are “married” to the appropriate components of the selected sandals or clogs. PLUS, you can select from a range of commonly requested additions and modifications to further enhance the therapeutic efficacy of the sandals or clogs...just as you would with traditional custom-made Langer orthotics.
